Centering thought: “My life energy radiates the light of Being..” || Mantra: Om Katyayani Namah. “I activate my pure awareness.”
Sunday, we were asked to stay in the flow of awareness for a moment of gratitude just for being alive. Deepak told us to close our eyes and take a breathe then open them. Let the experience of thinking, saying, and doing nothing sink in. When you’re just being, you are expressing your true self. “Learning how to rest into existence, and learning how to let go of stress opens the way for grace and knowing that being here is enough.”
This meditation is dedicated to aligning with our natural and divine consciousness by activating the energy of the seventh chakra. We learn that enlightenment is not out of reach. By cultivating self-awareness and presence during everyday moments, we experience true wakefulness—we are fully alive in the moment. To experience this awakening, it’s not necessary to radically restructure your life. These moments of presence are available in every breath we take . . . they are there in the gap between every thought we have.
When we are truly conscious, we may experience moments when our pure self shines through and suddenly life flows smoothly, sweetly, and peacefully. Our complete spiritual awakening consists of these moments aggregating and expanding into periods of time, and then into longer stretches of time, until awareness becomes a continuum of “now” consciousness, 24 hours a day. Today’s lesson on enlightenment shows us that we don’t need to struggle to get there. It is enough to simply be aware and be present. Nature takes care of the details.
Sabrina Reber writes, “The Crown Chakra carries the energies of Enlightenment, Divine Illumination and God Realization. It is located on the top of the head and is the source of our higher consciousness. When fully opened, the Crown Chakra becomes the conduit through which our Holy Spirit, God Self, Christed Self, Buddhic Self or Divine Essence is brought down into our physical being.”
Balanced Crown Chakra: Wisdom, Mastery, Unification of the God Self with Human Personality, Bliss, Intuition, Expanded Consciousness, Knowingness, Transcendence, Oneness, Deep Understanding, Service to Others, Spiritual Energy
Unbalanced Crown Chakra: Confusion, Lack of Understanding, Insensitive, Lack of Inspiration, Apathy, Greed, Overly Rational and Materialistic, Domination of Others, Spiritual Cynicism, Addiction, Attachment, Over Intellectualization, Disassociation to the Physical Body, God, Humanity, the Earth and the Animals, Desensitization to the Realms of Spirit
Trauma to the Crown Chakra: Forced Religion and Blind Obedience
Bodily Symptoms Expressing Blockage: Migraines, Inability to Focus / Confusion, Deterioration of the Central Nervous System, Emotional Depression, Desensitization, Lack of Feeling, Accelerated Aging / Deterioration of the Physical Body.
The Crown Chakra is often called the thousand petal lotus. Throughout history it has been depicted in paintings of Jesus the Christ, Buddha, Saints, Angels and other highly evolved beings as a golden white halo around their heads. When the Crown Chakra is fully opened an awareness of our divinity and the true essence of our being is understood and integrated. The crown chakra will not fully open until all seven of the chakras and corresponding energy fields have been purified enough for divine energy to be released activating the Kundalini. The Kundalini is a divine spiral of energy similar to a coiled snake that lays dormant at the base of each person’s spine (root chakra) until proper purification has occurred within a beings system for it to safely ascend up the chakra column. The crown chakra connects us to our masculine Father God while the root chakra connects us to our feminine Mother Goddess or Mother Earth. If the kundalini is able to move through each chakra and does not encounter any blocks it will move up into the crown chakra opening a pathway for each persons God self to descend into their physical body. Kundalini is Creator energy. It is our divine birthright to activate this part of ourselves so we can become conscious co-creators here on Earth. When our system is properly prepared, the descension of our God self washes over each of the seven chakras breaking the seven seals activating the creation of our divine luminous light body. This prepares us to move forward into Self Mastery where we have the potential to fully activate and embody our Holy Grail becoming a Divine Enlightened Human.
What are some tips to help balance your Sahasrara?
Physical: Eat violet/white fruits and vegetables, and drink plenty of water. Violet whole foods tend to contain essential phyto-chemicals and fatty acids which are beneficial for the cerebral cortex, pineal glad, hypothalamus and upper brain function, as well as the lymphatic system and White foods are often rich in sulfur and quercetin, which may reduce the risk of cancer and help the body get rid of cancer-causing chemicals. Buckwheat, Cauliflower, Chermoya, Coconut , Garlic, Quinoa, Shallot, Sunflower Seeds, Tofu, Turnip, White beans, White Corn, White Eggplant, White Onions, Basil Flowers, Black Tomatoes, Dulse (seaweed), Elderberries, Kohlrabi , Lavender, Marjoram, Mint Flowers, Mulberries, Passionflower, Passionfruit, Purple Cabbage , Purple Eggplant, Purple Grapes, Purple Green Beans, Purple Peppers, Purple Plums, Rosemary Flowers, Sage Flowers, and Thyme Flowers all have Sahasrara energy in their colour. Get a cranial sacral massage. Inversions like, Head Balance (Sirsasana); Waterfall or legs up wall (Viparita Karani); Full Arm Balance (Adho Mukha Virasana), Mountain (Tadasana); and Lotus (Padmasana) all do wonders for the Crown.
Mental: Read spiritual/quantum psychics books about the Universe. Whatever will give you insight into the meaning of life, and cosmos, go with it. Read: “The Alchemist” by Paulo Coehlo, “The Power of Now” by Eckhart Tolle, or “The Spiral Dance” by Starhawk. You could even look into watching the PBS Channel series “The Cosmos.”
Emotional: Help others for the sake of helping others alone. You will find that this brings you great joy just by seeing a smile on someone else’s face.
Sexual/Spiritual: Let go of ego, and Pray/Meditate upon an violet/white mandala, talk with your inner guides about what has happened, and what lessons are to be learned to change your patterns of behaviour.
Environmental: Therapeutic-grade Essential Oils of Frankincense, Vetiver, and Myrrh, are especially effective. Surround yourself with violet or white light. Colour therapy works! Wear a violet/white tee shirt, sweater or dress. Put up a picture or white painting. Change your sheets. Change your phone cover or background. Paint a wall/room a nice soothing violet or white to promote relaxation.
Again, by embracing these, we awaken our inner visionaries, and embrace our power and strength. To do so takes great courage, and we should all applaud our efforts at transformation and coming into our own in our own good and healthy time.
Namaste
Om Katyayani Namah. I am aware. Om Katyayani Namah. I am light. Om Katyayani Namah. I am pure consciousness.
