Please, join in where ever you are. Awake or asleep. Read this and reflect, and meditate. Wednesday, October 8th 2014 at 9pm EST.

Four months ago, we began a journey towards wholeness by diving deep into our psyches. Through calm reflection and/or meditation, we have explored the foolish “devil’s bargains” that we have made in our past, and what we have given up or what has been taken away from us. We have discovered and continue to discover the things and people which no longer serve us and have learned to healthily cut and break free from them. We have begun to learn to wander with instinct and eat that which feeds our minds, bodies, and souls. We have felt the longing loneliness and pain of the soul and have learned to seek out sanctuary. And now, we delve into  the thick of the Wild.

At a fundamental level we all crave to take back which has been stolen from us and to reclaim our own wild sovereignty.

But the reclaiming always takes time and many hours, days, months, and years sometimes to gain it back. This is why creating sacred sanctuary is so essential in the spiritual and personal growth paths. The concept of sacred retreat originated from this premise. We need time not only to heal, but to also grow. Outside the grasp of those who would see us harm. Outside the forces of darkness that would see us fail. Outside of those things in our lives that we have perpetuated in previous toxic circumstances and environments.

Now that we have been tested and have seen straight through the attempts of others to see us backpedal to the very beginning, we are allowed to rest for real now. To seek refuge in a place untouched by the false-ego.

We have gone to the woods. We have begun and been shown the way. We have taken the path into the woods of the soul where we are safe, secure, and will be finally free from worry. And a funny thing happens when we no longer have to worry. We grow…

WE HAVE COME THIS FAR.

Now, we strive to experience something a bit more, something a bit more deep and personal. A new layer to our psyches and consciousness.

We have learned and continue to learn incredible things about our selves, as we take the steps on this 7-Part Healing Meditation practice based on Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes’ work in her soul-opening book Women Who Run With the Wolves, and the story of the Handless Maiden.

So, welcome again friends to this 7-Part Series of Deep Psyche Digging & Surgery.

Now begins Part-6, the Sixth Stage of Endurance –
The Realm of the Wild Woman. The World of Empowerment & Regrowth.

If you havn’t already done so, or would like to refresh your memory, please read the full short story HERE: http://completehealthcircle.com/2014/07/21/new-moon-blessings-of-the-first-stage-of-endurance/

And if this is your first time with us, please take the time to look over the previous Stages:

IN THE STORY

After the Handless Maiden comes to the largest, wildest forest she has ever seen, there are no disceranble paths, and picks her way over and through and around. Near dark, she is visited once more by the white spirit that led her to the king’s orchard. The spirit leads her through the woods to the sanctuary she most needs, a poor inn run by kind (and one supposes) wildly magical woodspeople. They know who the Queen Maiden and babe are, look after them, and allow her and her child to live there (again one supposes rent free) for seven years.

Throughout this seven year span, a wondrous thing happens. Slowly, the maiden’s hands grow back and return themselves to her.

The wilderness in a way has acted like fertilizer for her power, psyche, healing, and de facto, her hands.

Now, sure, in these seven years the maiden has been separated and estranged from her husband. Abandonment issues abound. She is raising a small child by herself, granted with the help of woodland spirits and fae folk for moral support. But she is also experiencing tremendous “enrichment and restoration and peace.”

There is an “infinitely merciful nature of the deep psyche during these periods of journey. There is always the next helper and the next.” Once we find our true soul homeland, our fiery and flowering heart can regain its roots.

Now, the story does not tell us what happens specifically to the maiden, what specific mystical lessons she learns that brings about this regrowth and restful revivification. However, we know from various traditions that “our lifetimes are divided into phases of seven years each. Every sever-year period stands for a certain set of experiences and learnings. These phases can be understood concretely as terms of adult development, but they may more so be understood as spiritual stages of development that do not necessarily correspond to our chronological age, although they sometimes do.”

Since the beginning of time, our lives have been divided into phases, one rite of passage after the next, each having to do with the changing powers of our bodies. By sequentializing we are able to anticipate and prepare ourselves for “what comes next.” What comes next is the province of the instinctual Wild Woman.

She always knows.

Yet, across time, as the old wild initiation rites fell away, the instruction of the younger men and women by the elders about these inherent stages has been hidden away.

6225530793_306198433d_b

“Unrest, restlessness, yearning, changing, and growing brings the old patterns or phases of deep life back to light. Though we can put specific titles to these stages, they are all cycles of completion, aging, dying, and new life.” The seven years in the woods teaches the maiden the detail and dramas connected to these phases. The following are cycles of seven years each, stretching across an entire lifetime. Each has its rites and its tasks, but it is up to us to fill them in. The ages and stages of life provide both tasks to accomplish and attitudes in which to root ourselves.”

“These phases are not meant to be tied inexorably to chronological age, for some at eighty are still in developmental young maidenhood, and some at age forty are in the psychic world of the mist beings, and some twenty year olds are as battle scarred as long-lived crones. Each age represents a change in attitude, a change in tasking, and a change in values.”

Where do you fall? It isn’t about where you SHOULD be. It is all about where YOU ARE NOW.

0-7 : age of the body and dreaming/socialization, yet retaining imagination
7-14 : age of separating yet weaving together reason and the imaginal
14-21 : age of new body/ young maidenhood or young manhood/ unfurling yet protecting sensuality
21-28 : age of new world/ new life/ exploring the worlds
28-35 : age of the mother or father/ learning to mother or father others and self
35-42 : age of the seeker/ learning to mother self/ seeking the self
42-49 : age of early crone or wiseman/ finding the far encampment/ giving courage to others
49-56 : age of the underworld/ learning the words and rites
56-63 : age of choice/ choosing one’s world and the work yet to be done
63-70 : age of becoming watchwoman or watchman/ recasting all one has learned
70-77: age of reyouthanization/ more cronedom or wisemandom
77-84 : age of the mist beings/ finding more big in the small
84-91 : age of weaving with the scarlet thread/ understanding the weaving of life
91-98 : age of the ethereal/ less to saying, more to being
98-105 : age of pneuma, the breath
105+ : age of timelessness

“As we transit through these cycles from bodily knowing to becoming more internally sensing, our layers of defense, protection, and density become more and more sheet until our very soul begins to shine through. We can sense and see the movement of the soul within the body-psyche in an astonishing way as we grow older and older.”

6881014563_11f3bd72f6_b

And as we grow older and older we learn and we learn.

We begin to make use of all of our senses, practical and otherwise.

We awaken, we remember, and we evolve as we make our way along the path towards enlightenment. With each life phase we pass through. As more and more time goes on we develop and all seven of our senses of our “inward holy body” are worked and opened: animation, feeling, speech, taste, sight, hearing, and smelling. “Fire animates, earth gives a sense of feeling, water gives speech, air gives taste, mist gives sight, flowers give hearing, and the south wind gives smelling.”

As these wild senses come to us, our hands, our power, is returned to us.

At first, like the maiden with the hands of a baby, our understanding of all that has happened is imitative. Then we develop, as she does, a concrete but not absolute understanding of all things. Then finally, with a woman’s or man’s hands we have a practiced and deeper grasp of the nonconcrete, the metaphoric, and the sacred path we have been on.”

“As we practice the deep instinctive knowing about all manner of things we are learning over a lifetime, our hands return to us, the hands of our woman/manhood. It is amusing sometimes to watch ourselves as we first enter a psychic stage by imitating the behavior we would like to master. Later as we go along, we grow into our own spiritual phase, into our own rightful shape.”

break free

This is a period when we are charged to rise up to La Destina, the deep sense of our own destiny as a miraculous one.

With our eyes straight, palms outward, with the hearing of the instinctual self intact, we go into life in this new and powerful manner.

The regeneration of our grasp on our life and work sometimes causes momentary hiatus in the work, for we may not be totally confident of our newfound strengths. We may have to try them out for a time to realize how great their reach is.

We often have to re-form our ideas of once without power (hands), always without power. After all our losses and sufferings we find that if we will reach we will be rewarded by grasping the child that is most precious to us. This is where we feel that at long last we have a grasp on our life again, and palms to see with and to fashion life with once more. All through we have been helped by intrapsychic forces, and we have matured greatly.

We are truly “within ourSelf” now.

So we are almost to the end of walking the vast land of this long story. There is but one more stretch of crescendo and completion yet ahead.

MEDITATION

So now, let’s consider our centering thought,  “In the wild I am free.

Consider listening to the following music during the meditation:

Now, let’s prepare to meditate.  Make yourself comfortable and close your eyes.  Become aware of your breath and breathe slowly and deeply.  With each breath, allow yourself to become more relaxed.  You may wish to use a mantra with this meditation like “Wild is my heart”

Repeat it silently to yourself.  “Wild. Is. My. Heart.”

With each repetition, feel your body, mind and spirit open and receive just a little bit more of this nurturing and innate ability that is within you. With each repetition, imagine yourself walking along the path towards your soul’s home.

Connect with it. Allow the moon to pull it out from your depths, and OWN it! Feel the warmth return to your hands. Feel the warmth return to your heart. Feel your entire being warm with the power and strength that is inside of you.

Whether you are male or female, walk into the woods of your inner psyche with no hands carrying a newborn child wrapped to your chest. Allow a white spirit to show you the way to a sanctuary deep in the forest. This place is where you will be safe and protected for the duration of the meditation.

Allow yourself to meet the woodsfolk innkeeper who has been waiting for you for a very long time. You recognize her as a very old friend, beyond time and nationality. Her eyes are kind and her smile is warm. She welcomes you in with open arms.

Imagine yourself spending time here, learning things that you need to know. Allow the forest to teach you. Allow the innskeeper to teach you. For She is Wild Woman. Speak with Her. Ask any questions you feel you need to ask for personal growth and spiritual development. Find out what phase, what stage of life you are on. With each new lesson, imagine time passing. Imagine with each new lesson or insight that your childSelf is growing. And as he or she is growing in age, with each new bit of wisdom you are told you notice your hands growing just a little bit more.

Allow yourself time here. You have an whole hour.

Pace yourself. Really descend into the teachings of the Wild Woman.

Listen. Learn. Use all seven of your senses. Do as She asks, and set the intention that there will be at least seven lessons to learn. At least seven blocks that you will need to break through.

As you unlock the first lesson, imagine your small little fingers to grow with the colour RED.

As you unlock the second lesson, imagine your fingers growing a little bit more with the colour ORANGE.

As you unlock the third lesson, imagine your fingers growing a little bit more with the colour YELLOW.

As you unlock the fourth lesson, imagine your fingers growing a little bit more with the colour GREEN.

As you unlock the fifth lesson, imagine your fingers growing a little bit more with the colour TURQUOISE.

As you unlock the sixth lesson, imagine your fingers growing a little bit more with the colour INDIGO BLUE.

And finally, as you unlock the seventh lesson, imagine your fingers growing to full size with the colour VIOLET.

Once your hands have returned to normal, you experience a new found strength and power and love in them. Continue to meditate for as long as you can or want.

Thank Wild Woman for her gifts, and take everything you have learned back into regular reality and time.

Open your eyes. Look down at your hands. What do they look like? Feel them. Rub them together.

Full Moon Blessings of the Fourth Stage of Endurance: Finding Love Within

6235644421_65d913ef27_o

Tuesday, September 9th, will mark the Harvest Moon. Join us in meditation at 11pm EST.

Two months ago, we began a journey towards wholeness by diving deep into our psyches. Through calm reflection and meditation, we have explored the foolish “devil’s bargains” that we have made in our past, and what we have given up or what has been taken away from us. We have discovered and continue to discover the things and people which no longer serve us and have learned to healthily cut and break free from them, and have begun to learn to wander with instinct and eat that which feeds our minds, bodies, and souls.

At a fundamental level we all crave love and intimacy.

But what most of us fail to realize is that love and intimacy is not something that can be found or purchased outside of ourselves, but rather is must be found and cultivated inside. If we cannot learn to love and nurture our True Selves then how can we expect others to do so? Especially after we have survived a great wrong, hurt, or trauma.

We have come this far. Now, we strive to experience something a bit more, something a bit more deep and personal.

We have learned and continue to learn incredible things about our selves, as we take the steps on this 7-Part Healing Meditation practice based on Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes’ work in her soul-opening book Women Who Run With the Wolves, and the story of the Handless Maiden.

So, welcome to Part-4, the Fourth Stage of Endurance –
Finding Love in the Underworld. (Finding Love Within)

If you havn’t already done so, or would like to refresh your memory, please read the full short story HERE: http://completehealthcircle.com/2014/07/21/new-moon-blessings-of-the-first-stage-of-endurance/

In the story, after the Handless Maiden walks away from the life she once knew, she discovers a place within her where she can find nourishment. The orchard of knowledge that is within each of us. There she meets a gardener, magician, and king. The king tests her with deep psyche questions, “Are you of this world or not of this world? Are you human or spirit?” She replies in honesty: “I was once of the world, and yet I am not of this world. I am both human and spirit.” And the king rushes to her, pledging his loyalty and love: “I shall not forsake you. From this day forward, I shall care for you.” They marry, and he makes her a pair of silver hands.

The gardener is the inner watcher, the sentinel of our deep psyche who waits for us to arrive and always keeps an eye out for danger. He is the “cultivator of soul, a regenerative keeper of seed, soil, and root. His function is regeneration. Our psyche must constantly sow, train, and harvest new energy in order to replace what is old and worn out. He keeps track of the need for change and replenishing. Intrapsychically, there is constant living, constant death-dealing, constant replacement of ideas, images, and energies.” The magician too, who is not only a keen observer but an emissary – the delegate or ambassador of our inner depths – he is charged with the task of communicating between us in our current awareness/consciousness to our higher Self, the King. The magician represents “the direct magic of a woman or man’s power. Such things as the split-second recall, the thousand-league vision, the hearing over miles, the empathic ability to see from behind anyone’s eyes- human or animal- all these belong to the instinctual. It is the magician who helps to maintain and enact them in the outer world. The mage/magician always has crossover potential especially in dreams. He can be male, female, animal, or even mineral. In conscious life, the mage assists our ability to become whatever we wish to portray ourselves as at any given moment.”

Now, the King is the chief watcher of our unconscious. “He watches over the botany of the growing soul- his (and his mother’s) orchard is rich with the trees of life and death. He is of the family of the wild Gods. Like the maiden, he is able to endure much. And like the maiden, he has another descent ahead of him.” (BUT that is another step.) Our King Aspect of the Psyche carries the “ability to take inner knowing out into the world and put it into practice, without mincing, muttering, or apologizing. He is involved in the mechanisms of vital process of failing, dying, and returns of consciousness. Later in the story, he will undergo a kind of death that will transform him from a “civilized” king” to a wild-knowing and even more wise one. It is only a natural process that we must learn to accept that in order to progress in our lives and on our spiritual paths that “old central attitudes of the psyche will die as the psyche learns more. Old attitudes will be replaced by either new or renewed viewpoints concerning just about everything in our lives. This is why the king represents renewal of the ruling attitudes and laws in our psyche.”

The King is the catalyst for trailing the maiden, for trailing us. “The psyche always shadows its own process. This is a most sacred premise. It means that if you are wandering, there is another- at least one, and often more- who is seasoned and experienced and who waits for you to knock at the door, rap on stone, eat a pear, or just show up, in order to announce your arrival in the underworld. This loving presence waits and watches for the wandering seeker. Women are especially well aware of this. They call it a little flicker of light or insight, a presentment, or a presence.”

Psychically, this is cohesive with concepts in Jungian psychology, theology, and the old night religions that the Self, or in our parlance, the Wild Woman, seeds the psyche with perils and challenges in order that the human in despair drives herself back down into her original nature looking for answers and strength, thereby reuniting with the great wild Self and, as much as possible thereafter, moving as one.”

“In order to discover the ancient ways of the unconscious, we often find ourselves fighting off the Devil in the form of cultural, familial, or intrapsychic injunctions that devalue the soul-life of the wild one.” Of our True Selves without distortion or masks. This process is how we uncover our truest authenticity, and by doing this, by going through this process we learn self-love, self-nurturance, self-acceptance, intimacy, and true self-esteem.

“Holy figures throughout the ages assure and reassure us that on the transformative open road there is already “a place set for us.” And to this place, by scent, by intuition, we are dragged or spirited by destiny. We all arrive int he king’s orchard eventually. It is only right and proper.” However, we must beware of the moat.

“Beware then the sensation of repose and accomplishment that can seduce humans into feeling that a spiritual cycle is a point where one may stop and rest on his/her laurels forevermore. The moat is a resting place for the dead, a completion at the end of life, but the living woman or man cannot stay too long near it, else we become lethargic in the cycles of soul-making. We must NOT lie down and go to happy sleep over what has been thus far attained in our work. Neither should we jump into the river in a crazy attempt to hasten the process. There is death with a lowercase and there is Death with a capital D. The one the psyche seeks in this process of Life/Death/Life cycles is la muerte por un instante, death for now, not La Muerte Eterna, Death For a Long Time.

Here are a few questions for you to answer Beloveds to help begin to clarify your journey in the underworld. They can be answered individually or collectively. The asking of questions creates a luminous net that is woven as we talk among ourselves, and they drop this net into their collective minds and raise it filled with the glimmering, the streaming, the inert, the strangled, and the breathing forms of the inner lives of women and men for all to see and work with.”

  1. How does one live in the topside (outer) world and the underworld (inner world) at the same time and on a day-to-day basis?
  2. What does one have to do to come down into the underworld on one’s own?
  3. What circumstances in life help women and men with the descent?
  4. Do we have a choice about going or staying?
  5. What spontaneous help have you received from the instinctive nature during such a time?

When men and women are in this state of dual citizenship, they sometimes make the mistake of thinking that to go away from the world, to leave the mundane life, with its chores, its duties that not only beckon but irritate beyond reason, that this is a sterling idea. But this is NOT the best way, for the outer world at these times is the only rope left around the ankle of the woman or man who is hanging, wandering, working upside down in the underworld. It is an EXCRUCIATINGLY IMPORTANT time, when the mundane must play its proper role in exerting an “otherworldy” tension and balance that helps lead to a good end.

And so we wander on our way asking ourselves- if truth be known:

  1. Am I of this world or the other?
  2. Am I both?

On this journey we must be. We MUST be both. “It is the wandering in such a manner that helps to wring out every last bit of resistance, every last possibility of hubris, to flatten every last objection we might think up, for wandering this way is tiring. But this special kind of fatigue causes us to finally surrender ego fears and ambitions and just follow what comes. As a result, our understanding of our time in the underground forests will be deep and complete.

The pattern is this: In all dying there is uselessness that becomes useful as we pick our way through it all. What knowing we will come to reveals itself as we go along. In all livingkind, loss brings a full gain. Our work is to interpret this Life/Death/Life cycle, to live it as GRACEFULLY as we know how, to HOWL like a mad dog when we cannot, and TO GO ON, for ahead lies the LOVING underworld family of the psyche that will embrace and assist us.

Know this: “even though we wander about in an unwashed, forlorn, semiblinded, and handless state, a great force from the Self CAN LOVE US, and holds us to its heart.”

When we welcome this force, when we find it, that self-love, self-acceptance, self-etc. etc., our Higher Self gifts us with new silver hands. When we become open to this, when we become even aware of the simple possibility something inside of us clicks. Our awareness expands. Our minds and hearts expand. Our compassion for self and others expand. Our entire consciousness and vibration expands.

To be given this insight, this awareness is to be given and invested with the “skills of spirit hands – the healing touch, the ability to see int eh dark, the ability to have powerful knowing through physical sensing.” In a way, this awareness begins our own journey towards becoming our own healers and healers for others. One could even say it is the beginnings of becoming a Reiki Practitioner. But I digress.

These hands “carry an entire medica with which to nurture, remedy, and support. At this stage the maiden is invested with the touch of the wounded healer. These psychic hands will cause her to better grasp the mysteries of the underworld (her inner world), but they will also be retained as gifts once she completes her work and ascends again.”

It is typical of this portion of the descent that uncanny, odd, and healing acts occur that ocme from outside the will of the ego and that are the result of being given spirit hands – that is, a mystical healing vigour. In olden times, these mystical abilities belonged to the old women of the villages. But they did not gain them at the first gray hair; they were accumulated over the years of this work, this WORK of ENDURANCE. And that is what WE too are about.

“These hands are a coronation into yet another role. She is thus crowned, as queen of her underworld. Like Persephone, she has endured various torments in the “apple-land” of Elysium, or in the Arthurian Avalon, the Island (and orchard) of Apples. This is why the handless maiden is directly associated with the blossoming apple/pear tree. This is ancient cryptology.

When we learn to read it, we see that Persephone of the apple-land, the handless maiden, and the flowering apple tree are the same sojourner to the wildlands of the soul. In all these, we see that fairy tales and mythos have left us a clear map to the knowings and the practices of the past and the way for us to proceed in the present.

Now, here at the end of the fourth labour of the handless maiden, we could say the maiden’s work in the descent is complete, for she is made the queen of life and death. She is the lunar woman who knows what passes in the night, even the sun itself must roll past her underground in order to renew itself for day. But this is still not the lysis, resolution. We are only at the midpoint of transformation, a place of being held in LOVE, yet poised to make a slow dive into another abyss. And so, we will continue…

So now, let’s consider our centering though,  “There is love within.”

Now, let’s prepare to meditate.  Make yourself comfortable and close your eyes.  Become aware of your breath and breathe slowly and deeply.  With each breath, allow yourself to become more relaxed.  You may wish to use a mantra with this meditation like “I love myself.” Repeat it silently to yourself.  “I. Love. My Self.” With each repetition, feel your body, mind and spirit open and receive just a little bit more of this nurturing and innate ability that is within you. Connect with it. Allow the moon in all its fullness to pull it out from your depths, and OWN it!

Full Moon Blessings of the Second Stage of Endurance

full-moon-beach

Two weeks ago, people from all over the world joined hands to confront the First Stage of Endurance: The Bargain Without Knowing.

From Milan, Italy to Miami, Florida.
From Karachi, Pakistan to Ukiah, California.
From Albany, New York to Semarang, Indonesia;

we all had the courage to look within our deepest dark memories. We woke up to the “devil’s bargains” of the ego in this lifetime and in others. We learned incredible things about our selves, and we made the first steps on a 7-Part Healing Meditation practice based on Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes’ work in her soul-opening book Women Who Run With the Wolves, and the story of the Handless Maiden.

So, welcome to Part-2, the Second Stage of Endurance –
The Dismemberment.

If you havn’t already done so, or would  like to refresh your memory, please read the short story HERE: http://completehealthcircle.com/2014/07/21/new-moon-blessings-of-the-first-stage-of-endurance/

In the story, the Handless Maiden is called the handless maiden for that very reason: the dismemberment of her hands. Psychically, or psychologically speaking, when we do take the devil’s bargain to enlarge our egos, we cut off a very vital part of ourselves. In a sense, we dismember ourselves. We cut ourselves off from the world of our hearts and souls, and step towards materialism and fake promises.

In shamanic circles, dismemberment is a part of initiation. Not a physical dismemberment, but one where the entire body is stripped down to the bone. Where all that you were, all the traumas, all the levels of the ego disappear for a moment, and then you are re-built. Put back together in order to be stronger, to merge with your guides, and take on their power.

Oftentimes we need to go through dismemberments. We need to learn the art of letting go.

We begin a numb phase where we learn to strengthen ourselves as much as we can, to use all one’s psychic resources for oneself, to become as conscious as possible. That means stepping outside our suffering and seeing what it means, how it goes, what pattern it is following, studying others with the same pattern who have come through it all, and imitating what makes sense to us. If we listen to dream voices, to images, to stories, and to our art, to those who have gone before, and to each other, something will be handed out to us, even several somethings that are ritual, personal psychological rites, that serve to steady this stage of the process. This is why we draw a circle of chalk around us. This is why we bathe ourselves. We prepare ourselves for the descent.

In the story, after the three-year period of waiting for the devil to come collect his dues, to take the young maiden away, having purified and drawn a chalk circle around herself,  an unseen force throws the devil across the yard. Unable to touch her, he orders her not to bathe. She devolves to an animal-like condition, and again the devil returns. However, with this wild primal energy, she weeps on her hands, and again the Devil cannot touch her. He orders the father to cut off the maiden’s hands. Not only is this a complete example of the definition of over-kill, but this is just another test, another fool’s promise of the ego stripping away the vital power of both the father and daughter. Another ploy of the dark ego. Once her hands are cut off, the maiden’s life as she has known it is ended. She is initiated into the realm of the Otherworld. And now, having this unknown connection, she is slowly learning the lessons of living life without Seeing, without Knowing. Again the Devil comes to collect, but again, the devil cannot touch her at her very core, and gives up.

This is a testament to the life of the Wild One. The one that lives inside all of us. We all go through relationships and tests of the ego. We make bargain after bargain, compromise after compromise; and instead of being a compromise of equality, the only thing that is comprised is ourselves, our hearts, and our souls. After a while in unhealthy situations, we chip and chip away at our vital nature, until all that is left is nothing worth keeping. We become numb. But we realize what has been done to us, and what we have allowed to be done to us. How we have surrendered to the will of the predator and the frightened father so that we wound up being made handless, powerless, and broken.

“After this, our spirit reacts by moving when we move, by reaching when we reach, by walking when we walk, but it has no feeling to it. We are numb when we realize what has come to pass. We are horrified to fulfill our barter. We think our internal parental constructs are supposed to always be alert, responsive, and protective of the flowering psyche. Now we see what happens when they are not.” Now we see when our parental constructs fail us. When we fail ourselves. Or have we?

“This three-year period is the same for many myths and legends of the past. It is a period of mounting energy, three years of something occurs, then comes a destruction, then from that ruin is born a new world of peace.” This is symbolized by the old saying, three-times a charm. Because we have been waiting and wondering and worrying about the inevitable day that will come. Twice the devil has tried, and now the third turn, there, now something has happened. Our hands have been taken away from us. And it is a difficult loss.

In that moment we feel all is lost. That we have hit rock bottom. We curse to the sky, and plead and ask, “WHY ME?!” We didn’t want this to happen, but we did. Underneath it all, subconsciously, in our deepest depths of our psyches the father in our minds knows that it will be a great heartbreak, but that it is necessary if we are to wake up. This is why we set ourselves up for disappointment.

Soon, the part of us that battles the ego on a daily basis knows, that enough energy will be stirred, enough soul-wind will be raised to cause the psychic vessel to sail far and away. Lao-tzu taught us, “Of the one comes two, and of the two, three. And from the three come ten thousand.” By the time we get to three, to the “three” power of anything, we reach a transformative moment. Our atoms leap, and where there was lassitude there is now locomotion.”

8310665257_3b8bb2087b_k

And so this descent into the Underground Forest, the La Selva Subterranea, is something lovely, dark, and bittersweet. Just like my favourite chocolate. And like my favourite chocolate, it is often accompanied by a great swell of emotion.

We wait and we sit in this darkness and we weep.

And weep we should, our innocence has been slain and will never return in the same way again.

The cutting has occurred.

Our descent has deepened.

All of our dearest values, which mean everything, the loss of vantage point, the loss of horizon lines, the loss of one’s bearings about what one believes and for what reasons has been severed.

And we weep.

“Tears, in mythos, melt the icy heart. All through history, tears have done three works: called the spirits to one’s side, repelled those who would muffle and bind the simple soul, and healed the injuries of poor human bargains.”

Tears are part of the mending of rips in the psyche where energy has leaked and leaked away. The matter is serious, but the worst does not occur – our light is not stolen- for tears make us conscious. There is no chance to go back to sleep when one is weeping. Whatever sleep comes then is only rest for the physical body. Sometimes we say, “I am sick of crying, I am tired of it, I want it to stop.” But it is the soul that is making tears, and they are our protection. So we must keep on till the time of need is over. It will not last forever, only until the soul is done with its wise expression.

I am amazed how little people cry, or people who do not allow themselves to cry.

It worries me when shame or disuse begins to steal away a natural function. “To be a flowering tree and to be moist is essential, otherwise you will break.”

Crying is good, it is right.

It does not cure the dilemma, but it enables the process to continue instead of collapsing.

And so, with the weeping, with the crying we follow the maiden down to another level of the underworld. “We continue on in her footsteps. We go onward, even though we are vulnerable and so peeled of ego-protection, like a tree skinned of its bark. Yet we are powerful, for we have learned to sling the Devil across the yard.”

This is a time we see that no matter what we do, our ego-plans slip from our grasp. There will be a change in our lives, a big one, no matter what nice plan the little temperamental conductor-ego has for the next movement. Our own powerful destiny begins to rule our lives – not the mill, not the sweeping, not the sleeping.

Your Life as you once knew it is over.

We are desirous of being alone, perhaps being left alone entirely. We can no longer rely on the fatherly dominant culture; we are in the midst of learning our real lives for the first time.

We go on.

It is now time to flow backward, more than a regression into the personal unconscious, letting go of all our lilting values, and into a heartfelt return to workable ancient values, and even more deeply held ideas. If we understand this stage of endurance as a step backward, it must also be considered a step ten leagues down and back into the realm of Wild Woman.

This is the real reason why the Devil loses interest and leaves in frustration. Because even though we may feel that we have lost our touch, and our usual way with the world, we are still powerful in our pureness of soul, and strong in our insistence on our sorrow. This is what causes the thing that wishes to destroy us to withdraw.

The psychic body has lost its precious hands, yes. But the rest of the psyche will compensate for the loss. We still have feet that know the way, a soul-mind with which to see far, breasts and belly (hearts and guts) to sense with, just like the exotic and enigmatic belly Goddess, Baubo, who represents the deep instinctual nature of everyone… is it ironic that she too has no hands?

With this incorporeal and uncanny body we go forward. We are about to make the next descent.

So Beloved, meditate. Meditate with us during the Full Moon.

What needs to be let go and dismembered? What will you weep for?
And what new power is waiting for you in the depths of your psyche?

“Like” to Invite Sweetness into Your Life: A Full Moon Reiki Meditation

creative commons sugar bush

“It’s so hard to forget pain, but it’s even harder to remember sweetness. We have no scar to show for happiness. We learn so little from peace.”
― Chuck Palahniuk, Diary

Saturday night will be my next FREE Full Moon Reiki Meditation at 11pm EST.

As the temperature begins to warm and the ground begins to thaw, earthworm casts appear, heralding the return of the robins. The more northern tribes knew this Moon as the Full Crow Moon, when the cawing of crows signaled the end of winter; or the Full Crust Moon, because the snow cover becomes crusted from thawing by day and freezing at night. The Full Sap Moon, marking the time of tapping maple trees, is another variation. To the settlers, it was also known as the Lenten Moon, and was considered to be the last full Moon of winter.” – The Farmer’s Almanac

I like to call this full moon The Spring Maple Moon.

Growing up in the upper Adirondack mountains, my father would often bring my sister and I to our cousin’s Sugar Bush, which is where 100% Pure Maple Syrup is collected, heated and even sampled sometimes with a bit of fresh fallen snow. There are so many happy memories in those woods where we would ride the snowmobiles, walk over icy brooks that were beginning to thaw. When we would bundle up and play all day in the snow…

This will be an excellent night for really asking how can tap into your childish enthusiasms and how you can share your  own inner sweetness with your Self & others? Self discovery is essential to a balanced and healthy holistic lifestyle.

As I like to say, “In order to live happy and healthy lives we need to have a happy and healthy relationship with our past, especially with our childhoods. If we can look back at the fond moments, the moments that truly matter; then the trauma, the abuse, and the struggle of childhood can be looked at with more compassionate eyes. Our inner child is set free. If it is allowed to feel what it will in those moments of happiness, it can finally come out of the dark corners of our psyches. By doing so we allow our inner sweetness and goodwill to shine like how the sun can melt snow and like how sap flows from trees in order for sweetness to manifest.”

So, why not get in touch with your inner workings a bit more; find spiritual, emotional, and mental clarity so that you can manifest harmony and warmth of spirit?

creative commons full moon march

So, Happy Full Moon in Virgo friends!

By using the Maple Tree as an example,  we will focus on how we too can tap into our reserves of sweetness in order to open untold doors of happiness & health.

Join us from the comfort of wherever you will be at the time. Whether you’re awake, out socializing, working, or even at home in bed; you can attend in spirit by just taking a moment to ponder the following. No one has to meditate. Simply sitting and taking a reflective moment is all that is needed.

What is Reiki? Whenever someone asks what I do, and I tell them that I am a Reiki Practitioner, I often get an odd look of curiosity. I always begin by quoting Usui Sensei, “Reiki is the secret art of inviting happiness into your life.” Reiki is a Japanese method very similar to massage, except your clothes stay on. The point is to facilitate a relaxing atmosphere and environment so that the body can naturally heal itself of physical, emotional, mental, sexual and spiritual pain. It works great for aches and pains, grief and heartbreak, as well as when you lose your faith in yourself. It empowers people and helps to deal with trauma, abuse, and depression. I even use it to help with my patients management who have PTSD, ADHD, OCD, and even PMS. (This normally gets a chuckle). Simply put, Reiki allows you take time for yourself, for peace, for harmony, and for your health. It isn’t a cure, but it does help to heal issues at their core in conjunction with other medical therapies.

creative commons reiki hands

I will be offering and sending this unconditional healing energy to anyone who wishes to participate. By liking this post, or joining this event, I am taking that as an affirmative. A simple “Yes” or “No” will be fine. Whether or not you physically attend or meditate on your own is up to you. The energy will be sent regardless, and it will go where it is most needed to each person.  I send Reiki with a clear intention that it will only be received with free will and if it is refused will be redirected to the Earth or another person who needs and wants it.

Will you be calling it an early night, and will already be in bed? No worries. When we are asleep we are perfect channelers of Reiki energy. If you wish, you can say the blessing below before bed to welcome the harmony that will be sent to you.

Again, my intention for Saturday night will be to focus on our ability to create sweetness in our lives.

“Everyone carries an atmosphere about him. It may be healthful and invigorating, or it may be unwholesome and depressing. It may make a little spot of the world a sweeter, better, safer place to live in; or it may make it harder for those to live worthily and beautifully who dwell within its circle.”
― J.R. Miller

We will also focus on all those seeds that we planted during the last New Moon. This will be an excellent time for you to meditate and answer some of the questions we posed a few weeks ago. How have you tended your inner heart’s garden? Have you become more considerate of your actions towards others and your Self? Have you begun to shun negative self-talk? Do you find yourself being more grateful for the people in your life?

creative commons tree buds

Our intention/mantra/prayer will be:

It is a good idea to place your hands over your heart chakra, Anahata, as you say the following blessing, light a candle if you wish, and either just sit, or meditate if you’re awake. If asleep, you may say it prior to bed if you wish. Again, when we are asleep we are in an excellent state for healing. It is one of the few times our subconscious can consciously speak to us because we are in an altered state of consciousness. Take note of your dreams the next morning, perhaps you will get a message for an area in your life to focus on and heal. Always feel free to message me privately if you have questions. Namaste~ We are all one after all.

“Thank-you for sending Sweetness for the greatest good of everyone gathered tonight.
Thank-you for sending Sweetness for the greatest good of all who could not make it for this healing.
Thank-you for sending Sweetness for the greatest good of (our/my) home, community, and planet.

May my words be filled with sweetness.
May my thoughts be filled with sweetness.
May my actions be filled with sweetness.

May I acknowledge my past heart breaks and let them go with a warm hug.
May I acknowledge my current heart’s condition and let it be.
May I acknowledge my future heart’s wholeness with a smile.

As the moon softens, may my pain and suffering be released as the moon darkens and darkens.
As the moon softens, may my mind draw upon the peaceful sanctuary of this season, as the moon darkens and darkens.
As the moon softens, may my soul be nurtured with self-love and self-acceptance, as the moon darkens and darkens.

As I begin to travel in the land of Spring, may I relate my journey to the wisdom of this season.
May my spirit soften at the wonder of this night.
May my life flow like warm sap and nourish my Spirit.
Happy Full Moon.
Namaste. Thank-you. Thank-you. Thank-you.”

Just allow the energy to flow for a few minutes until it seems like you have met your mark. Bathe yourself in sweet moon beams as you drift away to sleep.

Now, as participants, if you wish to step it further, you can become a better conduit for this energy by sinking into meditation with me at the same time.

I will be performing the Reiki healing tomorrow, SATURDAY March 15th AT 11PM EST. for about 30-60 minutes.

If you wish, get comfortable, light some candles/incense, put your choice of music on, and meditate with me.

creative common sugar bush

You may even wish to make some hot chocolate or tea, light some candles/turn on your music, and just sit.

***Perhaps for this special night you could take a warmed shot of 100% Pure Maple Syrup!

If you will already be in bed asleep, which is a great state of mind to be in when receiving healing, print out and say the intention above. Or you could even say one of your own making.

I am really very excited about this, and I welcome who ever is interested!

Let’s take some time for ourselves, and meditate together. (Just be sure to correlate with your time zone.)

If you run late by accident, don’t feel guilty. You can enter at any time and leave at any time.

The key is to allow yourself the time to heal. You may even wish to stay longer than the 30 minutes.

I will be gifting the Reiki for approximately 1 hour.

See you all tomorrow under the liminal moon light.

Namaste~ We are all one after all.

“Like” to Invite Love Into Your Heart: A Full Moon Reiki Meditation

creative commons lions head full moon

Tomorrow, Thursday night will be my next FREE Full Moon Reiki Meditation at 11pm EST. Our focus will be to open our hearts so that we can better share our love with with our Selves and others. By working on our own perceptions of Self, and by accepting “me-for-me”, we open untold doors of happiness & health.

So, Happy Full Moon in Leo!

Reiki is Love. It is that universal connection that binds our bodies, minds, and hearts together. It is the fabric that is interwoven between all things living and nonliving. It is pure unconditional love.

I will be offering and sending this unconditional healing energy to anyone who wishes to participate from the comfort of their own home tomorrow night.

Will you be calling it an early night, and will already be in bed? No worries. When we are asleep we are perfect channelers of Reiki energy. If you wish, you can say the blessing below before bed to welcome the harmony that will be sent to you.

**SPECIAL** All those who join both this New Moon and Our next Full Moon Meditation will be entered to receive a special Reiki Gift Basket and a private FREE 30-minute Reiki Session. Stay tuned for details!!

It will be the night prior to the Full Moon, which is a very important night for celebration for many cultures and faiths around the world. From Buddhists, Native Americans, Pagans, and even Secularists; the cycles of the moon have a certain rhythm to them that mirror our own inner rhythms. And why not? It makes sense. Just like the tides that ebb and flow, our inner tides and waters fluctuate throughout the month as the gravitational pull of the moon gets closer and farther away.

This month’s full moon is The Snow Moon; or the Hungry Moon.

“Since the heaviest snow usually falls during this month, native tribes of the north and east most often called February’s full Moon the Full Snow Moon. Some tribes also referred to this Moon as the Full Hunger Moon, since harsh weather conditions in their areas made hunting very difficult.” – Farmer’s Almanac

I like to call this full moon The All Lover’s Moon.

It isn’t just for people who are currently in romantic relationships, it is for every lover.
Every one who loves. Every one who loves their self just as much as others.

creative commons hearts in snow

This will be an excellent night for really asking how can you share your love with your Self & others? Self discovery is essential to a balanced and healthy holistic lifestyle.

As I like to say, “In order to find love, you must love your Self. All that you are and more as you look in the mirror. You must see love. Feel love. Taste love. Hear love. Be love. You must make your life a beautiful painting of love. You must hug others and touch your own cheek with affection. You must add the ingredient of love to all that you cook. You must ensure that your words and thoughts are compassionate. And most importantly of all, you must represent the love that which you wish to have. If you want love. Create it.”

So, why not get in touch with your inner workings a bit more; find spiritual, emotional, and mental clarity so that you can manifest harmony and warmth of spirit?

By liking this post, I will take that as an affirmative for wanting to participate.

My intention for tomorrow night will be to focus on our ability to create love in our lives.

“For crying out loud, stop comparing and start living! And you’ll be happier with your life, I guarantee. This is crucial: the most difficult thing in the world is to be who you are not. Pretending and trying to be someone else is the official pastime of the human race. And the easiest thing in the world is to be yourself. Be happy. Live! There must be a reason why God made you tall or short or fat or thin or bumpy all over. Love who you are!”
― Bo SanchezYou Have The Power to Create Love: Take Another Step on the Simple Path to Happiness

May I embrace my inner lion’s heart.
May I embrace my inner lover’s heart.
May I embrace my inner healer’s heart.
May I embrace my inner dreamer’s heart.

May I acknowledge my past heart breaks and let them go with a warm hug.

“Like” To Embrace Your Wild Hunger For Happiness: A Full Moon Reiki Meditation

Warming_Up_for_the_Nights_Howl_Gray_Wolf-(1024x768)

What is Reiki? Reiki is relaxation. Reiki is taking the time to take care of yourself so you can take care of others.

I will be offering a special Reiki gift to anyone who wishes to participate from the comfort of their own home tomorrow night.

TOMORROW, WEDNESDAY the 15th at 11PM EST.

This month’s full moon is The Wolf Moon; or the Old Moon.

“Amid the cold and deep snows of midwinter, the wolf packs howled hungrily outside Indian villages. Thus, the name for January’s full Moon. Sometimes it was also referred to as the Old Moon, or the Moon After Yule. Some called it the Full Snow Moon, but most tribes applied that name to the next Moon.” – Farmer’s Almanac

This will be an excellent night for really asking what is your heart hungry for? Self discovery is essential to a balanced and healthy holistic lifestyle.

As I like to say, “the winter months are when we can really allow ourselves to look within. Sometimes we growl at what we see…sometimes we howl in delight.”

So, why not get in touch with your inner workings a bit more; find spiritual, emotional, and mental clarity so that you can manifest harmony and warmth of spirit?

By liking this post, I will take that as an affirmative for wanting to participate.

My intention for Wednesday night will be to focus on our ability to weave webs of health into our lives.

“The web of fate represents a wheel of life, (remember our New Moon Card The Wheel?), which does not include any alternatives or solutions. It is typically human to get caught in the polarity of good or bad fortune without realizing that we can change it at any time. If we are not decisive enough about changing our lots in life, we may end up being consumed by our fears and limitations. We are infinite beings who will continue to weave patterns of life and living throughout time. Do not fail to see the expansiveness of the eternal path.” – Medicine Cards, Spider Weaving by Jamie Sams & David Carson

Our intention/prayer/blessing/poem for tomorrow night will be:

“Thank-you for sending Reiki gifts for the greatest good of everyone gathered for this healing.
Thank-you for sending Reiki gifts for the greatest good of all who could not make it for this healing.
Thank-you for sending Reiki gifts for the greatest good of our home, community, and planet.

May I embrace my wild hunger for stability and safety. Depression and anxiety have no power over me. I am here!
May I embrace my wild hunger for passion and sex. Destruction and co-dependence have no power over me. I feel alive!
May I embrace my wild hunger for laughter and sunshine. Pessimism and insecurity have no power over me. I think open-mindedly!
May I embrace my wild hunger for compassion and forgiveness. Bigotry and misery have no power over me. I love unconditionally!
May I embrace my wild hunger for honesty and creativity. Apathy and self-righteousness have no power over me. I speak the truth!
May I embrace my wild hunger for serendipity and sight. Lies & darkness have no power over me. I see the stars!
May I embrace my wild hunger for beauty and life. Discrimination and intolerance have no power over me. I know we are all connected!

As the moon wanes, may my pain and suffering be released as the moon darkens and darkens.
As the moon wanes, may my mind draw upon the peaceful sanctuary of this season, as the moon darkens and darkens.
As the moon wanes, may my soul be nurtured with self-love and self-acceptance, as the moon darkens and darkens.

As I travel through the land of Midwinter’s wonderland, may I relate my journey to the wisdom of this season.
May my spirit howl at the wonder of this night.
Happy Full Moon.
Namaste. By healing myself I can help to heal others.”

“Like” to Invite Yuletide Happiness & Health Into Your Life: A Full Moon Reiki Meditation

december full moon

I will be offering a special Reiki gift to anyone who wishes to participate from the comfort of their own home tomorrow night.

TOMORROW, MONDAY the 16th at 11PM EST.

This month’s full moon is The Full Cold Moon; or the Full Long Nights Moon.

“During this month the winter cold fastens its grip, and nights are at their longest and darkest. It is also sometimes called the Moon before Yule. The term Long Night Moon is a doubly appropriate name because the midwinter night is indeed long, and because the Moon is above the horizon for a long time. The midwinter full Moon has a high trajectory across the sky because it is opposite a low Sun.” – Farmer’s Almanac

This will be an excellent night for keeping warm under the grips of cold winter nights. The process of keeping a warm heart in the middle of cold times (not only in winter) is essential to a balanced and healthy holistic lifestyle.

As I like to say, “Warmth of spirit can defrost even the bitterest cold.”

So, why not get in touch with your inner workings a bit more; find spiritual, emotional, and mental clarity so that you can manifest harmony and warmth of spirit?

By liking this post, I will take that as an affirmative for wanting to participate.

My intention for Monday night will be to focus on our similarities and warmth of spirit as we celebrate the holiday season in the several weeks to come. Remember, they call it a holiday season for a reason, it isn’t only for one night. It lasts and lasts into the next year, until the last snowflake melts and spring returns with crocuses and snowdrops.

Our next intention for tomorrow night will be:

“Thank-you for sending Reiki gifts for the greatest good of everyone gathered for this healing.
Thank-you for sending Reiki gifts for the greatest good of all who could not make it for this healing.
Thank-you for sending Reiki gifts for the greatest good of our home, community, and planet.

May I receive the necessary healing I need for a harmonious mind, body, and spirit.
May I embrace silence, stillness, and solitude this holiday season.
May the seeds that I planted for the Universe to tend now be in full bloom.
May icicles show me rainbows and warm my heart with peace of mind, body, and spirit.
May I be the light in the darkness, and welcome the warm return of the sun this holiday season.
May I receive the necessary love I need for a harmonious mind, body, and spirit.
May the spirit of the season fill me with the pleasures of joy, community, and song this holiday season.
May snowflakes kiss my nose and warm my heart with peace of mind, body, and spirit.
May I give the necessary love I need for a harmonious mind, body, and spirit this holiday season.
As the moon waxes, may my pain and suffering be released as the moon brightens and brightens.
As the moon waxes, may my mind draw upon the peaceful sanctuary of this season, as the moon brightens and brightens.
As the moon waxes, may my soul be nurtured with self-love and self-acceptance, as the moon brightens and brightens.
As I travel through the land of Winter’s wonderland, may I relate my journey to the wisdom of this season.
Happy Full Moon. Happy Solstice. Happy Kwanzaa. Happy Yuletide. Happy Channukah. Happy Christmas.
Namaste. We are all celebrate as one. By healing myself I am healing others.”

Just allow the energy to flow for a few minutes until it seems like you have met your mark. Bathe yourself in sweet moon beams as you drift away to sleep.

Now, as participants, if you wish to step it further, you can become a better conduit for this energy by sinking into meditation with me at the same time.

december full moon2

I will be performing the Reiki healing tomorrow, MONDAY the 16th AT 11PM EST. for about 30-60 minutes.

If you wish, get comfortable, light some candles/incense, put your choice of music on, and meditate with me.

You may even wish to be festive, make some hot chocolate, light some candles/turn on your holiday lights, put some holiday music on, and sit. Warm yourself in and out.

Namaste my friends, and Happy Holidays!

Tonight’s Reiki Full Moon Meditation

full moon

Tonight, we meditate for inner and outer harmony in our minds, bodies, and souls. If you would like to participate, simply, “LIKE,” this post prior to 11pm EST and I will add you to the pot. We will be using synchronized meditation as well as a Reiki box for those far and wide. I will also be sending muchly needed energy to our brothers and sisters in the Philippines who have suffered and continue to suffer at great length. If you have any special requests for any loved ones, please also feel free to comment, but you can do this yourself by focusing on them while you participate. Regardless if you can or can’t, I will be sending to who ever asks for tonight’s Reiki gift of blessings. No one will be turned away.

As we prepare to meditate tonight in the Moon’s light, let us set the intention to gently acknowledge and release to spirit all thoughts and feelings about our perceived challenges and adversities that do not serve us.

Let’s fill that newly cleared space with infinite love, light, and joy.

As we step into this acceptance and find our resilience, we open to prosperity and our infinite potential.

And isn’t that the truest truth my friends? Thoughts are incredible powerful things. By shifting our thoughts and perceptions, we can open ourselves up to what is really happening. To what is actually manifesting for the greatest good. To true healing and peace of mind, body, and spirit. To the countless gifts that are now a possibility.

A gift resides in every moment.
I nourish the universe and the universe nourishes me.
You can nourish the universe and the universe can nourish you.
I nourish the love and light in me, and you can nourish the love and light in you too.
Namaste

Tonight night is all about those seeds that we planted during the New Moon.

Our next intention, blessing, prayer (whatever you want to call it) will be as follows.
Feel free to print it out or write it down and repeat it to yourself before bed.
All pronouns will be changed from “I” to “they” when I say it for all of you aloud tonight:

“Thank-you for sending Reiki energy for the greatest good of everyone gathered for this healing.
Thank-you for sending Reiki energy for the greatest good of everyone in the Philippines for this healing.

May I receive the necessary healing I need for a harmonious mind, body, and spirit.
May I continue to tend hope in my heart.
May I continue to see the beautiful potential for happiness all around me.
May the seeds that I planted for the Universe to tend now be in full bloom.
May I overflow with love, with light, and with peace of mind, body, and spirit.
May I set my vision now upon the fruits of my labour.
As the moon wanes, may my pain and suffering be released as the moon lessens and lessens.
As the moon wanes, may my mind draw upon the peaceful sanctuary of this season, as the moon lessens and lessens.
As the moon wanes, may my soul be nurtured with self-love and self-acceptance, as the moon lessens and lessens.
As I travel through the land of Winter’s beginning, may I relate my journey to the wisdom of this season.
Namaste. We are all one. By healing myself I am healing others.”

Just allow the energy to flow for a few minutes until it seems like you have met your mark. Bathe yourself in sweet moon beams as you drift away to sleep.

If you wish, get comfortable, light some candles/incense, put your choice of music on, and meditate with me.Or, if you wil already be in bed asleep, which is a great state of mind to be in when receiving healing, print out and say the intention above. Or you could even say one of your own making.

The following may be done to your own discretion prior to your distanced Reiki session:
1. Shower, take a sacred bath, or simply wash your face and hands.
2. Dress in comfortable clothing. (This means pajamas for me!)
3. Select your choice of peaceful music that will span for about an hour, or however long you wish.
4. Create sacred space: However feels right to you but the easiest way is to clean an area from clutter and arrange simply items with intent and purpose, such as the following if you so choose:
-a bowl of water;
-a flower, other green thing in a vase or simply fresh black earth in a dish from your yard;
-incense/essential oils/smudge stick in a fire proof container, and
-a candle on or around the area for meditation. If you feel uncomfortable with candles, a space heater, fireplace fire, or simply sitting in sunshine can be substituted. (Be sure however that the candle will not be knocked over by animals nor will its drippings melt all over cherished items)
-You may even wish to pick a Tarot card or other item to focus your inner imagery during the session.
5. Make yourself a light snack of wholesome whole foods, tea and fresh chilled water. Fresh fruits, vegetables, and whole grains are best. Waters can be chilled with a slice of lemon or other fruit that has been slightly macerated and left in a pitcher in the fridge. Herbal tea is also good to have on hand. Chamomile would be perfect for just before bed.
6. Make sure you explain to your house guests/friends/family that you will need to be left alone for the duration of your session.
7. Silence all cellphones and land-lines.
8. Ensure animals are kept in an area where they won’t be able to disturb you unless they are familiar with a mediation practice, in which case they may choose to join you.
To begin your session:
1. Place a drop of water/essential oil on your third eye chakra, your heart, and your tail bone. Light the candle, incense/essential oil/smudge stick, and smell the flower or green thing. You may rub it between your fingers if you wish to really smell these earthy grounding essences.
2. Sit in lotus position or “Indian-style,” lay down, or simply find a comfortable chair to relax in. (Possibly in view of the Full Moon if you are lucky. If not, simply visualize the moon in all her glory.)
3. Push the “play” button on your music media.
4. Close your eyes
5. Let your journey begin.
During your distanced Reiki session:
1. Be aware of any twitches or spasms of movement in your body. This is often a sign of release in an area.
2. Be aware of heat, which is the classic and typical feeling in a Reiki session.
3. Be aware of colours that you may see. If there is a colour you see predominately, this could be a sign that you need more of this colour/energy in your life to balance out your chakra of the corresponding colour.
4. Be aware of past memories, or dreams that may surface during the session.
5. Be aware of deep emotions experienced during the session. These could be of joy and euphoria; or of pain, anger, and sadness. All of which are valuable to your healing.
After your Reiki session:
1. Eat and drink plenty of water for the next few days. Often Reiki manifests with similar symptoms associated with detox, and plenty of water is important to flush away those toxins.
2. Sleep and or rest to the best of your ability. 8+ hours a night is recommended.
3. Record and document any odd or exhilarating dreams. These are also detox-like symptoms.
4. Follow-up & share your impressions of the session. My contact information is above if you would like to privately send me your answers, questions, or impressions. (However, you may wish to comment on this post). 🙂
Questions after your Reiki session:
1. Were there any problems or questions during the session?
2. What were your experiences during the session?
3. What did you feel after the session?
4. Did the Reiki healing help you with your complaint?
5. Any other observations?
I am also obligated by law to make you aware of the following:

Reiki is a simple, gentle, hands-on energy technique that is used for stress reduction and relaxation. Reiki practitioners do not diagnose conditions nor do they prescribe or perform medical treatment, prescribe substances, nor interfere with the treatment of a licensed medical professional. Reiki does not take the place of medical care. It is recommended that you see a licensed physician or licensed health care professional for any physical or psychological ailment you may have. Reiki can complement any medical or psychological care you may be receiving. The body has the ability to heal itself and to do so, complete relaxation is often beneficial. Long term imbalances in the body sometimes require multiple sessions in order to facilitate the level of relaxation needed by the body to heal itself.

Many of you have been emailing me asking when the next distanced healing will take place. I have finally ironed out my schedule for the rest of the month, and the next one that I will be offering will be on

SATURDAY the 16th at 11PM EST.

This month’s full moon is the Mourning Moon. Which is an excellent night for not only physical healing, but for also mental and emotional healing. The process of mourning is essential to a balanced and healthy holistic lifestyle, and we all mourn in different ways.

So, why not get in touch with your inner workings a bit more; find spiritual, emotional, and mental clarity so that you can manifest harmony in your physical body?

By liking this post, I will take that as an affirmative for wanting to participate.

My intention for Saturday night will be all about those seeds that we planted during the last New Moon.

Our next intention for you will be thus. Feel free to repeat it to yourself before bed. All pronouns will be changed from “I” to “they” when I say it aloud Saturday night:

“Thank-you for sending Reiki energy for the greatest good of everyone gathered for this healing.

Namaste. We are all one. By healing myself I am healing others.”

Just allow the energy to flow for a few minutes until it seems like you have met your mark. Bathe yourself in sweet moon beams as you drift away to sleep.

Now, as participants, if you wish to step it further, you can become a better conduit for this energy by sinking into meditation with me at the same time.

I will be performing the Reiki healing SATURDAY the 16th AT 11PM EST. for about 30-60 minutes.

If you wish, get comfortable, light some candles/incense, put your choice of music on, and meditate with me.Or, if you wil already be in bed asleep, which is a great state of mind to be in when receiving healing, print out and say the intention above. Or you could even say one of your own making.

Free Full Moon Reiki Discussion

image

Earlier this week, I vowed to do a free distanced Reiki healing to send harmonious energy to all who asked for it.

My intention set forth for tonight was simple:

“Thank-you for sending Reiki energy for the greatest good of all gathered for this healing. May you receive the necessary healing you need for a harmonious mind, body, and spirit. Namaste.”

I hope all of you who participated allowed yourself the time to be open to the energy received (some of you may be asleep but our spirits are never unaware of the energies around us.)

If some of you would like to comment below and share your experience(s) that would be great!

Or if you are more the shy and private type (which is totally acceptable) and want to email me your feedback, you can email me at dhealey DOT completehealthcircle AT gmail DOT com.

Please answer the following questions:

  1. Did you have any problems or questions during the session?
  2. What did you experience during the session?
  3. What did you feel after the session?
  4. Did the Reiki healing help you with any of your ailments?
  5. How were your dreams following the session?
  6. Any other observations? Smells, sounds, feelings?

(Be sure to hydrate really well for the next few days, you may experience “detox” like symptoms.)

To end, I just want to say a few things:

I am so grateful for you. For your participation, for your fellowship. For your friendship. We are so incredibly blessed to be able to have the technology to connect to one another! Some of you are across states, rivers, mountains, oceans, continents. We are truly blessed to be able to gift ourselves time to relax, reflect, and heal. Peace be with all of you.

Namaste my beautiful, beautiful friends…

May you all bask in  the ethereal moon light.

Good night, sweet dreams.
